The Spanish composer is still listening to the world. He seeks its purity in sound when the relation between cause/effect is broken. A modern reading of the Greek acousmatics (akousmatikoi) where the pythagoreans listened to their master from behind the black veil, without seeing him. Francisco López listens to the world with the eyes shut, and reconfigures it accordingly to the secret logic of sound.
